19 year old striker Edison Cavani was recently signed by Palermo by Eric Manasse, Fifa agent. Edison Cavani was the top scorer in the U20 South American championships.
"We are thrilled for the player and for Palermo" said Eric Manasse,"It was the biggest transfer in the Italian January window and our biggest transfer in Italy yet." Palermo beat out the stiff competition of Juventus,PSV and Real Madrid for the young phenom.
