Following an invitation by the Olympic comittee and the prefect of Thessalonika, Diego Maradona has accepted to come to Greece and will do so with Logosport in
August for the Olympic games. Diego Maradona is recently recovering at a clinic
in Buenos Aires and expects to be leaving for Cuba soon. The "Greatest football
player of all times," told Eric Manasse that he was overjoyed by the invitation and
planned to come to Greece once his health stabilized. "Diego still has a large part
to play in football, "said Eric Manasse, "his presence is an inspiration to fans and players who remember his ability and genius on the pitch. We hope he will enjoy the adulation and spirit of the Olympic games."
