Alessandro Altobelli

Italy met W. Germany in the final of the 1982 World Cup in Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid. Altobelli scored the third goal for Italy to secure the 3rd World Cup title, final score 3-1. He returned in 1986 to the world stage, scoring 4 goals before Italy went of tournament.

Andreas Brehme

- Germany -
One of the key players in Germany's most successful periods in world competition, Brehme won the World Cup in 1990 along side Lothar Mattaeus and Jurgen Klinsman. He was also on the field in 1986 when Germany was defeated 3-2 by Argentina in the World Cup final. He spent 10 years on the German national team, playing his third World Cup in 1994. He also won a Serie A title with Inter Milan in 1989, German Cup, and German League Champions in 1998 at the age of 37.
